file 0019/ Recording Studio & Video Editing Space seeking tenants

We are seeking partners to create a Professional Audio Recording / Video Editing community. We have a space that is 3600 sq ft on the Plateau and we need partners to share in the rent, hydro etc... The space will be a professional recording studio & video editing facility with : - 6 editing suites - Big Live Room - 2 smaller vocal booths - Big Master Control Room - Machine Room - Conference room - Kitchen - Toilets - Reception area - Tons of audio & video equipment : 2 inch tape, quarter inch tape, Pro Tools, PAL, AVID etc.. Each partner gets their own editing room / office. Each editing room will be wired to the recording rooms & vocal booths so you can record from any room. Likewise, there will be a video feed so that producer & musicians can see each other. You are responsible for equipping your own editing room. Access to the Master Control room will be available for a small hourly fee as this room will have a lot of very expensive equipment & microphones in it. We are currently four partners who work in the following areas : - Original Music & Music Supervision for Flm TV / Electronic Music Record Label - Music for Commercials / Marketing / Band Producer - Sound Fx for Film & TV / Studio construction / Engineer - Autotune Specialist / Producer for pop rock bands Ideally we would like to find other partners who work in video editing or animation. You can use the booths for dialogue & voiceovers. Likweise, we can feed each other jobs. Organisation : Each member pays a monthly rent that includes heat & insurance. We do not have to form a company together - the money you make with your clients belongs to you. There will also be some initial overhead costs for construction : taking down some walls, building some new ones, cables, patch bays etc... However, one of the partners has a construction background and has built seven recording studios so costs will be kept low as we will do a lot of the work ourselves.
